I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves to find clarity and calm, and deal better with the challenges life throws as us.
Why?
Because I have been there, struggling with noisy negative thoughts, fear of overwhelm and stuck in patterns of behaviour that didn’t serve me.
Full of self-doubt, I didn’t even realise I said yes when I really wanted to say no sometimes.
I hid my head in the sand for far too long and told myself “I’m fine”.
For most of my adult life, I worked in London as a solicitor in the City. I had a nice flat and a thriving social life, and thought I was on a path to ‘success’. Except I wasn’t happy and I couldn’t understand why.
A therapist helped me see that behind ‘seeming’ fine I was really struggling. I found calm and learnt to like and respect myself.
With the support and encouragement of a therapist, I began making better decisions for myself and started to live a more authentic and happier life.
I’m a therapist and counsellor in Didsbury, Chorlton and Urmston, Manchester and online.
